How to be like Sarah Pearl Brown 101

1) Material things mean nothing; she stored up her treasures in Heaven. (Matthew 6:19-21) 19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

2) "Christian Service" isn't a hobby, it's a lifestyle (James 2:14-26) 14 My brothers and sisters, if a person claims to have faith but does nothing, that faith is worth nothing. Faith like that cannot save anyone. 15 Suppose a brother or sister in Christ comes to you in need of clothes or something to eat. 16 And you say to them, "God be with you! I hope you stay warm and get plenty to eat," but you don't give them the things they need. If you don't help them, your words are worthless. 17 It is the same with faith. If it is just faith and nothing more—if it doesn't do anything—it is dead.18

3) Give what you have even if it is all you have (Mark 12:41-43)41 Jesus sat down across from the place where people put their temple offerings. He watched the crowd putting their money into the offering boxes. Many rich people threw large amounts into them.42 But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins. They were worth much less than a penny.43 Jesus asked his disciples to come to him. He said, "What I'm about to tell you is true. That poor widow has put more into the offering box than all the others. 44 They all gave a lot because they are rich. But she gave even though she is poor. She put in everything she had. She gave all she had to live on."

4) Love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:36-40)36 He said, "Teacher, which command in the law is the most important?"37 Jesus answered, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and your entire mind.'[a]
38 This is the first and most important command. 39 And the second command is like the first: 'Love your neighbor[b] the same as you love yourself.'[c]
40 All of the law and the writings of the prophets take their meaning from these two commands."

5) She meet physical needs(food/shelter) then preached the gospel to anyone who'd listen. (1 Corinthians 9:16)For if I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For necessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!

6) She made sure everyone had bibles.
1 Timothy 2:4
Our Savior God desires all men to be saved and to come to the full knowledge of the truth.

7) She would go after lost sheep (Mathew 18 12-14 )12 What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? 13 And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. 14 So it is not the will of my[e] Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

8) She was a powerful prayer warrior (Matthew 18:18-20)18 Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed[f] in heaven. 19 Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them."

9) She would rebuke a wrong (1 Timothy 5:20) 20 As for those who persist in sin, rebuke them in the presence of all, so that the rest may stand in fear.

10)She was a Woman Who Fears the Lord (Proverbs 31) 10 [d] An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. 11 The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. 12 She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life. 13 She seeks wool and flax, and works with willing hands. 14 She is like the ships of the merchant; she brings her food from afar115 She rises while it is yet night and provides food for her household and portions for her maidens.16 She considers a field and buys it; with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.17 She dresses herself[e] with strength and makes her arms strong. 18 She perceives that her merchandise is profitable. Her lamp does not go out at night.19 She puts her hands to the distaff, and her hands hold the spindle 20 She opens her hand to the poor and reaches out her hands to the needy.21 She is not afraid of snow for her household, or all her household are clothed in scarlet.[f]22 She makes bed coverings for herself; her clothing is fine linen and purple.23 Her husband is known in the gates when he sits among the elders of the land.24 She makes linen garments and sells them; she delivers sashes to the merchant.25 Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.26 She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.27 She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.28 Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:29 "Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all."
30 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.31 Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.
